As mentioned already Punjana from Thmpsons is excellent

Though I'd like to mention an exceptional cuppa I had in Newcastle at the weekend, at The Quay ingredient cafe..
A local brew from a firm called Ringtons that I'd never tried before, I shall be ordering some up...

A good Assam should do it. Strong and black can't be bad. https://www.abouttimemagazine.co.uk/drink/tea-time-5-best-assam-teas/

The Brew Tea Company make outstanding black teas

my local cafe does it - and the Engish Breakfast variety is excellent - very thirst quenching with a satisfying kick from the caffeine

However when I went to buy a packet of bags from the local grocers for my pantry, I found it was 8 quid for 40 bags - and for that they can go fuck themselves

Yeah I know can get them online.....spoken to Tesco and other stores, they've all got issues with deliveries. Not exactly a common brew so gotta wonder how long online sellers have had them on the shelf.

Agree - Punjana tea bags are great are nice and strong, hard to get hold of though, could only get them in the big Tesco stores but haven't been able to get them recently

Hot tea 2 yellow label Liptons tea bags (I tried all brands and this a decent cup of tea)

Ice tea Earl Grey , I don't take sugar and it doesn't have that dry tannin flavor
